    DVD: Australia

OK remember when you first watched the third lord of the rings movie and it tried to end eleven times? This film makes that look like child’s play. It’s a staggering 2h45m long and if you don’t have Kleenix for the duration of the film will then your in trouble. I even felt moved by what was happening in front of me.
Of Course you know that Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman are in it but then it turns out Nicole is playing a British Aristocrat, way to show your heritage. The Film is a display of cultural strife between The Colonists and the Native Aborigines around world war 2. Of Course like all good war movies there’s a love story and don’t worry guys there’s a love scene in there somewhere so you won’t have to watch 2hours worth of Nicole taking about her feelings.
Murder, Love, War, and a truly good excuse to show your girlfriend you have feelings even if you have to do it for the whole film.
Baz Luhrman as outdone himself in my opinion. Although the extras consisted to two deleted scenes common it want more than that
    Times online calls it

    addictive nonsense.
    Variety says it
    provides a luxurious bumpy ride
    I’m still giving it a 7/10

    Game: Wanted- Weapons of Fate

Once again they’ve taking the recipe of taking a comic book making it a movie then turning it into a video game. It has to one of my favourite game formats a pick up a weapon and shoot everything that stands in your way. Now it’s not messing up the story line from the film or even the comic it more to do with the future of the storyline so hardcore fans have nothing to worry about.
The training levels are quick to pick up and always no shooting game is complete without its excessive violence, although the experience is rather short and you feel it could have done with a couple extra weapons.

it’s apparent that the publisher is not just trying to cash in a quick check
    IGN
does manage to recreate the look and sounds of the movie
    I’m saying it’s a 5/10 at best

    Greenday- 21st Century Breakdown

Ok music wise I like it, It’s got anthems, ballads and a couple good jams as I’d expect of any CD, Although I have to beg the question what the hell happened to the Album Art? It look like they decided to be cheap and not print the CD booklet properly. I know the Global Recession is hitting people hard but really you gotta go and make it look like you printed it out on powerpoint?
The CD follows something of a Stage Production with Acts and an intro that sound a little something like this…
    Otherwise a sound effort
    Popmatters says it seems like:
Armstrong feels that the only way to follow his massively successful rock opera is ... with another rock opera.

    Culture Bully recons
The bar has again been raised

    I’m gonna go with a 7/10
